Who We Are
Our church has a rich heritage of ministry in the Yellow Springs community. We started in 1945 under the leadership of Rev. John Moore. Following his 34 years of faithful service, his son, Rev. Ken Moore, became Pastor and served for the same length of time as his father before him. Beginning in June of 2013, Rev. Matt Ransom served as Pastor for 4 years. Pleasant Grove is currently under the leadership of Rev. Bryan Graham who came in December of 2018. We serve Jesus with the Missionary Church denomination. God has blessed us with 75 years of ministry in Yellow Springs! While we celebrate our past, we look forward to an even more wonderful future as we follow our mission to: "Love God. Grow together. Serve others." We welcome you to be a part of what God is doing at Pleasant Grove!

Our Pastor
Welcome to Pleasant Grove Missionary Church! Thanks for checking us out! What a joy it is for me to serve as Pastor of this very loving congregation in beautiful Yellow Springs, OH! We serve a risen Savior, Jesus Christ, who is able to change lives, restore families and deliver all who call upon His name! It's a privilege and honor for me to share the hope of Jesus Christ and lead others into a saving, growing relationship with Him.
I am the blessed husband to my beautiful wife Kara and the proud father to my three boys: Zane, Tobin and Ean. In my free time, I enjoy working around the house, reading, riding my bike, watching sports and wrestling with my boys.

Service Times
Sunday School for all ages: 9:30-10:30am
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:45am
Sunday Evening Bible Study: 6:00pm
Our morning service is a blend between traditional and contemporary worship and typically lasts an hour to an hour and a half.
While little ones are always welcome in the service, a nursery is available to parents at any time if need be.
After the service you will find that most people stick around to visit with old friends and make new ones.
Children's Ministry
We love kids and want all kids to know and love Jesus Christ in a personal way! At Pleasant Grove, we want kids not only to feel welcome, but excited about coming to church!
In addition to our Sunday School ministry at 9:30, we offer children's church (preschool-12 years old) midway through the morning service. This time provides kids an opportunity to worship and learn at their age level.
Dress
Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and wont distract from worshipping.
Youth Group
Youth Group, consists of a group of dedicated youth leaders and students (grades 7-12) intent on developing our relationship with God and each other through discipleship, Bible study, worship, prayer and fellowship. Gatherings are held during the school year in the church Fellowship Building on Sunday nights at 6:00pm.
